We feature a stitch called the Double Stitch, which is an easy and simple stitch.  The hand work of this stitch gives each piece a wonderful texture you will treasure always.  Our work is all done by hand and ready for hanging.

The Double Stitch is a beautiful primitive stitch and not a fine hand quilting stitch.  It was used generations ago as a utility stitch.  The double stitch was for strength, especially with the older fabrics.  It is a simple running stitch which anybody can master right away.

Here is a sample of our log cabin block done using the Double Stitch.  This block when finished as shown, is 4" square.

You can see how this simple running stitch achieves a warm and primitive look.  This stitch is easy to learn, easy to teach and easy to master.
