Who doesn't know an love a teacher? Each year we try and appreciate and thank the people who teach our children the information and skills they will need to reach their goals.
This project is a great way to give that special teacher something that will be treasured always and won't sit in a drawer. The colors done here are very traditional, but wouldn't it be fun to go crazy for a special art teacher? Embroider any words you like...maybe a year and class...maybe the child's name and year...maybe just a special heartfelt message.
Have fun with this and the simple embroidery and tiny buttons embellish it nicely. This piece finishes at 12 1/2" square.
